Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar in digital/tech transformation.
• Strong understanding of business processes, IT delivery models and data ecosystems.
• Experience supporting digital transformation roadmaps, portfolio management or strategic technology initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex technology considerations into clear, business-focused recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills in data analysis, KPI/OKR tracking and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the enterprise digital transformation roadmap aligned with priorities and technology stack strategies.
• Develop business cases, value propositions and value hypotheses with stakeholders and partners.
• Track OKRs, outcomes, adoption, value realisation, budgets and resource use across digital initiatives.
• Analyse portfolios to identify overlaps, gaps and dependencies; identify opportunities for value delivery.
• Develop management dashboards and executive materials to support decision-making.
• Engage stakeholders to translate priorities into actionable recommendations.

Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a Digital Strategy Office and support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Sitting at the intersection of business, technology and strategy, you will help shape digital roadmaps, develop business cases, track the value of digital investments, and translate organisational priorities into actionable technology initiatives.

This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who enjoys working beyond traditional requirements gathering and wants exposure to digital strategy, portfolio planning, technology transformation and senior stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine the enterprise digital transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, Whole-of-Government (WOG) directions and technology stack strategies.
• Facilitate the development of business cases, value propositions and value hypotheses together with business stakeholders, technology teams and strategic partners.
• Track OKRs, business outcomes, adoption, value realisation, budgets and resource utilisation across digital initiatives.
• Analyse the digital portfolio to identify overlaps, dependencies, gaps and potential duplication across different technology stacks and initiatives.
• Conduct technology and market scanning to identify emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices.
• Translate emerging technology developments into practical and prioritised opportunities that can deliver measurable business value.
• Develop management dashboards, steering committee materials, options papers and executive presentations to support business and technology decision-making.
• Coordinate and follow through on actions arising from management and steering discussions.
• Engage business and technology stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges and technology constraints, translating them into clear recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Digital Transformation Analyst, Strategy Analyst or in a similar role within a digital/technology transformation environment.
• Good understanding of business processes, IT delivery models, technology infrastructure and data ecosystems.
• Experience supporting digital transformation roadmaps, business cases, portfolio management or strategic technology initiatives would be advantageous.
• Strong ability to translate complex technology considerations and constraints into clear, business-focused recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, benefits/value tracking, KPI/OKR monitoring and dashboarding.
• Structured and user-centric approach to problem solving.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation and executive communication skills.
• Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technology teams across multiple initiatives.
• Background in Finance, Business Analytics or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in change management and digital adoption will be an added advantage.
