Business Analyst / Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business challenges into data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights: analyze complex datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Product, Operations, Brand Partnerships) to understand business needs, define KPIs, and gather requirements for new data products or process improvements.
• Visualization & Reporting: design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Process Optimization: identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains within existing business workflows; develop and implement solutions to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting.
• Requirements Lifecycle Management: document business and system requirements, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and regulatory needs.
• Data Governance: uphold data integrity and quality standards by validating data, documenting data flows, and adhering to governance frameworks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 2‑5 years in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence role; senior roles require 8+ years.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL; strong experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or PySpark; expertise in Tableau or Power BI; advanced Excel skills; preferred experience with data warehousing, ETL, or cloud data platforms.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills; strong communication and presentation abilities; detail‑oriented with a commitment to data accuracy; ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Other Relevant Information: Medical screenings not typically required but may be needed upon hiring, especially for government or healthcare positions.
