Job summary

PwC Singapore is seeking an Associate-level Business Analyst to support data-driven decision making. You’ll model data in the core SQL database, maintain the data dictionary, and deliver dashboards using Power BI.

The role collaborates with Business and IT to ensure data accuracy and clear analytics across the organisation. You will work on ETL processes with Python/SQL, strengthen data quality controls, and automate data retrieval to enhance reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with data modelling and data dictionary management.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Python, SQL or R.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI.

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst works with Business and IT teams to model data in the organisation’s core SQL database, maintain the data dictionary, and document and monitor connections to source databases. The role also develops business intelligence dashboards using Power BI and performs ETL using Python, R, or SQL.

The data managed by the Business Analyst is core to the organisation’s operations and supports management decision-making. The Business Analyst helps ensure this data is accurate, up to date, and presented clearly so stakeholders can make informed decisions with confidence.
