Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage supplier reconciliations and month-end accruals. You will review ageing, obtain SOAs, and ensure timely clearance of long outstanding vendor balances.

The role involves following up on reconciling items, preparing reconciliation statements, and handling ad-hoc duties as needed to support the finance team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience with basic accounting tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for accruals, prepayments, GRIR, etc. on a timely basis.
• Review creditors’ ageing and follow up with vendors to clear long outstanding balances.
• Accrue unprocessed invoices, payment requests and reimbursement claims at month-end.
• Obtain Statements of Accounts (SOA) from top vendors.
• Review all SOAs submitted by vendors and follow up on reconciling items ageing >3 months.
• Prepare and submit creditors’ reconciliation statements for top vendors.
• Follow up reconciling items, including obtaining certified true copy invoices.
• Assist with other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Review creditors’ ageing and follow up with vendors to clear long outstanding debit and credit balances.
• Accrue unprocessed invoices, payment requests and reimbursement claims at month-end to meet month-end closing schedule provided by institution.
• Obtain Statement of Accounts (SOA) from suppliers classified as top vendors.
• Review all SOAs submitted by vendors and follow up on all reconciling items with more than 3 months ageing.
• Prepare and submit creditors’ reconciliation statements for top vendors.
• Follow up actively on reconciling items, including obtaining certified true copy invoices.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Min Diploma with some accounting experience is advantageous
