Job summary

A construction and renovation company in Singapore is looking for a skilled painter. You will prepare and paint surfaces, ensuring quality finishes. Candidates must have experience, knowledge of painting materials, and the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Qualifications

• Experience with night/day shifts and working on weekends/public holidays is required.

Job Description

• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using and paper, removing old paint etc.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right colour or texture
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
• Apply varnish and other finishes
• Calculate costs and negotiate prices
• Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions

Requirements

• Must be work after regular schedule.
• Must be work Sat/Sun/Public holiday (if needed)
• Must be work at any shift (Night/Day)
• Proven experience as a painter
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
• Conscientious with great attention to details
