Job summary

NC Contractor Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day repair and maintenance at client buildings in Singapore. You will work independently, handling several small jobs across different sites and completing tasks start-to-finish.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, ability to do multiple trades, read English instructions, and a safety-focused mindset. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Five years or more hands-on experience in building maintenance, repair works, renovation or A&A works in Singapore.
• Able to perform more than one trade such as patching/plastering, painting, tiling, simple plumbing, door/ceiling repair.
• Able to read simple work orders or instructions in English and communicate with clients on site.
• CSOC (Construction Safety Orientation Course) or willing to attend; MEWP/Work-at-Height certs are an advantage and may be sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily repair and maintenance jobs at client buildings, usually a few small jobs at different locations.
• Perform multi-trade repair work (patching, plastering, painting, tiling, basic plumbing, door/ceiling repair).
• Check faults on site, report needs, and bring correct tools and materials.
• Work safely at height on ladders/scaffolds/MEWP while following site safety rules.
• Keep accurate records - photos, job sheets, client sign-off when complete.
• Attend urgent call-outs on standby roster and assist other trades as needed.

About the Job

NC Contractor Pte Ltd carries out building maintenance and repair works under long-term maintenance contracts. We are looking for hands‑on Building Maintenance Technicians to carry out day‑to‑day repair and maintenance work at our client's buildings. This is a hands‑on job - you will be doing the work yourself. Most days you will handle several small jobs at different buildings, so you need to be able to work on your own and finish what you start.

What You Will Do

• Carry out daily repair and maintenance jobs at client buildings - usually a few small jobs a day at different locations.
• Multi-trade repair work: patching and plastering walls and ceilings, painting and touch‑up, tiling, simple plumbing and sanitary repairs, door and lock replacement, ceiling board replacement, simple carpentry, clearing drains, and waterproofing touch‑up.
• Check the fault on site first, report what is needed, and bring the right tools and materials for the job.
• Work safely at height on ladders, scaffolds or boom/scissor lift, and follow permit‑to‑work and site safety rules at all times.
• Keep job records - take before and after photos, fill in the job sheet, and get the client to sign off when the job is done.
• Collect materials from the store or supplier, and keep your tools and vehicle in good condition.
• Attend urgent call-outs on a standby roster shared with the team.
• Help other trades and carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 5 years' hands‑on experience in building maintenance, repair works, renovation or A&A works in Singapore.
• Able to do more than one trade - for example patching and plastering, painting, tiling, simple plumbing, door and ceiling repair. You do not need to be an expert in all of them, but you must be willing to do all of them.
• Able to read a simple work order, sketch or instruction in English, and speak with the client's staff on site.
• CSOC (Construction Safety Orientation Course), or willing to attend. Work‑at‑Height and MEWP certificates are an advantage - we sponsor the courses.
• The work involves working at height, outdoors and in hot conditions.
• Able to travel to different sites in Singapore.
• Willing to work on Saturdays.
