Job summary

GROWMINDS CONSULTATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Construction Supervisor to support the Construction Manager in developing concepts for multiple projects and to oversee organization, scheduling and implementation on site.

The role requires planning, leading and monitoring progress against the project plan, managing manpower, schedules and budgets; ensuring safe methods and compliance while coordinating with project teams, clients and authorities to deliver projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager with conceptual development, organization, scheduling and implementation of projects.
• Plan, lead and monitor progress against the project plan, and manage manpower planning and master schedule.
• Perform cost management to keep projects within approved budgets, including materials, manpower and machinery costs.
• Provide timely instructions to address delays or emergencies at construction sites.
• Enforce safe and economical methodologies and project standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and stakeholders to minimise errors and ensure on-time completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities to resolve site issues and compliance matters.

Job description

The Construction Supervisor shall play a key role in assisting the Construction Manager ; the conceptual development of the various construction projects and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

He/she will need to plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan whilst managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control.

Perform cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects. Exercising timely instructions to deal with the results of delays, or emergencies at construction project sites. Reviewing manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation.

Exercising effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards.

To maintain close collaboration with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and all stakeholders to minimise errors in the process to achieve a smooth and on-time completion of the projects. To also liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and developers in resolving site issues and authorities’ compliances issues to avoid discrepancies.
