Hanman International Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is hiring Part-Time Sales Associates to represent our smart lock range at retail outlets and weekend roadshows.

You will answer questions about installation, compatibility, battery life, and security, then demonstrate features and close sales. This weekend-only role (Saturday and Sunday, 12pm–8pm) is ideal for students or anyone seeking extra income and hands-on sales experience in a growing smart home category.

Responsibilities

Job description

We're hiring Part-Time Sales Associates to represent our smart lock range at retail locations and weekend roadshows across Singapore.

A smart lock is a considered purchase, not an impulse buy. Customers want to know how it installs on their door, whether it works with their existing setup, what happens if the battery dies, and whether it's genuinely secure. Your job is to answer those questions with confidence and close the sale. Full product training is provided, and we're looking for someone who has a good people skill to understand that are able to understand and answer customer questions, not just read a script.

This is a weekend-only role (Saturday and Sunday), 12pm to 8pm. This is well suited to students, or anyone who wants additional income and hands‑on sales experience in a growing category.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage walk-in customers at assigned retail outlets or roadshow sites
• Understand each customer's needs, identifying door type, household setup, security priorities, and recommend the appropriate product
• Deliver live product demonstrations of smart lock features, app functions and access methods
• Close sales and consistently work towards targets
• Capture and record leads for installation, follow-up and after-sales service
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked and visually presentable display area
• Report daily sales figures, stock levels and customer feedback to the Sales Manager
• Represent the brand professionally at all times

Requirements

• Retail experience in consumer electronics or a similar customer-facing sales role is preferred, but students looking to find work are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills in English, extra points if you can speak Mandarin Chinese or Hokkien
• Available to work both Saturday and Sunday, including selected public holidays, with a minimum three-month commitment
• Comfortable standing for extended shifts in a retail environment
• Genuine interest in smart home and consumer technology
• Confident, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred

• Additional language ability (Malay, Cantonese, Hokkien)
• Familiarity with smart home ecosystems (Google Home, Apple Home, Tuya, SmartThings)
