Job summary

The Smart Home Gym Pte Ltd is looking for a part-time Retail Sales Assistant for our Queensway showroom in Singapore. You will demonstrate the Gym Monster, engage customers, and guide them to make informed purchase decisions.

This role values enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and strong communication. You’ll work weekends 12pm–8pm, with CPF and sales commission on top of hourly pay, and comprehensive product training.

Retail Sales Assistant (Part-Time)

Why this isn't ordinary retail

You won't be folding stock or standing behind a counter waiting for someone to approach.

We are Singapore's official distributor for Speediance, a smart home gym that replaces an entire rack of equipment with one machine. People come to our Queensway showroom specifically to try it, which means every conversation starts with genuine interest rather than a cold approach.

Your job is to put them on the machine and get them talking about why they want this. You'll learn how the equipment works, understand what a customer is training for, and show them how it fits their space and their goals. It's a product demo, a fitness conversation and a sales consultation.

This is a considered purchase, not an impulse buy. That makes the work more interesting and the commission more meaningful.

What you'll actually do

What we're looking for

Availability is the main requirement. Please only apply if you can meet all three:

• Both Saturday and Sunday, every week. These are our busiest days and the reason this role exists.
• Showroom hours are 12pm to 8pm.
• A minimum of three to six-month commitment

Beyond that:

• Comfortable talking to strangers and genuinely curious about what they're trying to achieve
• Willing to learn the product properly.
• Ability to think on your feet when customer asks questions
• People-person

An interest in training yourself is a real advantage. Customers can tell the difference between someone reciting a script and someone who actually understands why the machine feels the way it does.

What you get

• $16–$20/hr, plus CPF
• % Commission on your own sales. These are high-value machines (Priced at $4,999 and over)
• Full product training, including hands-on time on the equipment
• Up to five shifts a week if you want more hours. Several of our team started part-time and increased from there.

Good timing to join

We're looking to expand our team for the year. You'd be joining as the floor gets busier, which means more customers, more demos, and more opportunity to earn.

Applicants must be able to work legally in Singapore.
