Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our school bookshop. The ideal candidate should possess a pleasant disposition and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the bookshop
• Manage sales and provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff
• Order and maintain inventory of books and stationery supplies
• Coordinate and manage annual year-end sales and stock ordering and sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bookshop

Requirements:

• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Responsible and reliable with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior retail of similar trade experience is an advantage

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:30PM

The bookshop will be closed during school holidays, except during the year-end break (Nov & Dec) for annual ordering and sales therefore no leave allowed during the peak period.
