Job summary

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING CORPORATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Programme Engineer to optimize BOMs, consolidate components to shorten lead times, and keep the component database current to support ECO changes.

You will coordinate ECO activities, assess part availability, manage localization and new product transfers, and engage with suppliers to ensure cost, quality and timely delivery for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering; 2 years relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in Machining, Stamping, Sheet metal, and PCBA environments.
• Knowledge of SAP and component sourcing.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform BOM consolidation to reduce lead time and cost.
• Keep component database up-to-date; advise on new variant and ECO submissions.
• Check part availability and conduct lead time assessment.
• Co-coordinate ECO and follow up on closure.
• Understand MPS, material flow and manufacturing process flow.
• Manage localization and new product transfer programs.
• Manage supplier base to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Generate purchase orders, expediting, rescheduling and inventory management.
• Oversee project execution from bidding to FAI and handover.
• Handle technical/commercial reviews with departments and customers.
• Plan and track project documentation, purchasing, planning, quality, shipping and invoicing.
