Job summary

Yamari Singapore PTE LTD is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to prepare and maintain Bills of Materials and develop production schedules aligned with customer delivery commitments. You will collaborate with purchasing, sales, and storekeeping to ensure material availability and on-time shipments.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory control, timely PO issuance, and proactive material allocation to minimize downtime while meeting customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop and monitor production planning schedules to ensure customer delivery timelines and shipment commitments are met.
• Monitor production progress and adjust planning schedules to accommodate urgent orders or unexpected disruptions.
• Work closely with the Storekeeper to monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring adequate material availability for production while minimizing excess stock.
• Review and verify material withdrawal records to ensure accuracy, traceability, and proper inventory control.
• Coordinate closelywith the purchasing team to monitor material procurement and tooling delivery schedules, ensure Purchase Orders (PO) are issued in a timely manner, and obtain suppliers’ Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).
• Generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for materials, components, and tooling in a timely manner to support production requirements.
• Liaise closely with the production team to address operational issues and ensure smooth production flow in accordance with customer specifications.
• Monitor in-house material inventory and proactively issue additional stock to production, including allocating in-house manufactured items when production faces job shortages, to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
• Coordinate with the sales team on customer delivery arrangements, prepare Delivery Orders (DO), and ensure shipments are dispatched to the correct delivery addresses in a timely manner.
