Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced automotive body repair technician to join our team in Ubi. The role requires hands-on repair of vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, and chassis alignment, with adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position offers a monthly salary of SGD 2,800 to SGD 3,500, with overtime, team incentives, AWS and variable bonus. 14 days annual leave plus birthday leave are provided; standard hours are Monday to Friday

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in automotive body repair or panel beating.
• Able to carry out major structural repairs including chassis and frame repairs.
• Good team player with positive working attitude.
• Able to multitask effectively with good time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage with the Claims Advisor and carry out body and structural repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, chassis alignment, and frame repairs.
• Operate specialised tools, jigs, fixtures, and computerised measuring equipment to perform repairs according to approved repair methods.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards before handing vehicles over to the next stage of the repair process.
• Complete repair work within the stipulated turnaround time while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Monitor repair progress, report additional damage beyond the original repair scope, and highlight potential delays to the Claims Advisor or Supervisor.
• Handle customer vehicles with care by using protective covers and safeguarding valuables found during repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, assist team members when required, and perform other duties assigned by the Company.

• Location: Ubi, Singapore
• Basic Salary: $2800 to $3500 per month
