Job summary

Wizard Engineering Solutions, a Singapore-based engineering company, seeks a BMS Engineer to join our team. You will design, engineer, program, test, commission, and maintain BMS/IBMS solutions for commercial buildings, data centers, and mission-critical facilities.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver reliable automation projects, integrate with HVAC and building systems, and provide ongoing technical support and upgrades across Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with BMS/IBMS or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of HVAC control systems and building services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BMS/IBMS control strategies based on project specifications.
• Configure, program, test, and commission BMS controllers, field devices, and supervisory software.
• Integrate BMS with HVAC, electrical, power monitoring, fire alarm, access control, lighting control, and other third-party systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and performance optimization.
• Prepare engineering documentation, design specifications, IO lists, and as-built documents.
• Conduct FAT, SAT, and system handovers.
• Provide technical support, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, standards, and safety regulations.

Role Description

We are looking for a BMS Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS). The role involves delivering reliable automation solutions for commercial buildings, pharmaceutical facilities, data centers, and other mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop BMS/IBMS control strategies based on project specifications.
• Configure, program, test, and commission BMS controllers, field devices, and supervisory software.
• Integrate BMS with HVAC, electrical, power monitoring, fire alarm, access control, lighting control, and other third-party building systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and performance optimization.
• Prepare engineering documentation, functional design specifications, IO lists, and as-built documents.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and system handovers.
• Provide technical support, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades for existing installations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality procedures, industry standards, and workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• This position is open only to Singaporeans/PR Holders/LTVP Holders
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS), or Industrial Automation.
• Knowledge of HVAC control systems and building services.
• Experience with BMS software, graphics development, controller programming, and system commissioning.
• Familiarity with automation protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, OPC, or MQTT is an advantage.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP communication, and system integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, control schematics, and project documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within project teams.
• Willingness to work on-site across project locations in Singapore.
