Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master/PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, and composite building designs.
Broad knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) calculations.
Professional Engineer (Civil) registration or intent to pursue is preferred.
At least 1 year of blast engineering experience is ideal but not mandatory.
Team player with motivation to develop advanced blast engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

Reviews external submissions for Security-By-Design framework under Infrastructure Protection Act (IPA) focusing on blast resistance and progressive collapse of building components.
Provides in-house technical consultancy for security events regarding blast effects and global structural response.
