Job summary

Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd, part of the SJ Group, is seeking a proactive Civil and Structural Engineer to join our Security and Blast team. You will design and plan for protection of buildings and infrastructure from explosion and dynamic effects, collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors from concept to completion.

You will work on meaningful projects that enhance safety and resilience, handling design, analysis, site coordination, and tender documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Tekla, ETABS and related software.
• Experience or knowledge of designing for dynamic loading or blast effects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis and planning for structural engineering works.
• Design, analysis and plan for protection of buildings and infrastructure from explosion and dynamic effects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities from inception to completion.
• Prepare tender specifications and drawings for construction contracts and evaluate submissions.
• Monitor progress on site and ensure adherence to time, cost and quality objectives.
