Job summary

PROSTRUCT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. (part of SJ Group) is seeking a proactive Blast Engineer in Singapore to design and plan for protection of buildings and infrastructure against blast and dynamic effects.

You will collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors from concept to completion to deliver safe, efficient environments. The role involves diverse duties from design to tendering and site oversight, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic, impactful field within a leading blast

Qualifications

A good degree in Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering recognized by PE Board.
Experience with dynamic loading design/analysis is advantageous.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, analysis and planning for structural engineering works.
Design, analysis and plan for protection of buildings and infrastructure from explosion and dynamic effects (blast loading).
Design, analysis and plan for security system engineering works.
Liaise with consultants, contractors & authorities from inception to completion of projects.
Submit plans and reports to authorities and clients on time.
Manage projects to meet time, cost and quality objectives.
Prepare tender specifications and drawings for construction contracts and evaluate tender submissions.
Coordinate and monitor site progress including periodic site inspections and meetings.
