You will collaborate with process engineering to run small‑scale fermentations, assist with lipid extraction and analytics, and help maintain lab records and SOPs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or engineering field.
• Hands-on lab experience through coursework, a project, or internship; aseptic technique a plus.
• Experience with microbial fermentation or yeast culture preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques such as chromatography, gravimetric analysis, or separation principles.
• Proficient in data organization and basic analysis using Excel or similar tools.
• Singaporean and Singapore PR applicants only.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, buffers, and inoculum for small‑scale fermentations.
• Set up and operate shake flasks and benchtop bioreactors; monitor pH, DO, temp, and agitation.
• Support downstream biomass harvesting, lipid extraction, and purification.
• Assist with biomass, lipid, and fatty acid analysis and data interpretation.
• Maintain lab records, SOPs, and batch documentation to quality standards.
• Assist with scale‑up planning, data collection, and TEA‑related activities.
