Job summary

GLAXO WELLCOME MANUFACTURING PTE LTD is inviting applicants for the Attach and Train Programme (AnT), a 15-month structured on-the-job training at our Singapore biopharmaceutical facility near Jurong. Trainees gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to world-class manufacturing processes.

We welcome fresh graduates and mid-career individuals passionate about a career in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only apply.

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma in Chemical Process/ Technology/ Engineering related required.
• Prior exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Execute key process operations according to batch instructions and schedule to make APIs and intermediates.
• Learn Process and Workplace Safety and cGMP knowledge for manufacturing and demonstrate understanding during execution.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and carry out short-term projects to realise benefits.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure PPE and safety equipment are ready for use.
• Perform plant troubleshooting to minimise stoppages and prevent safety or quality incidents.
• Hands-on execution of plant operations and assist in troubleshooting.
