Job summary

MSD Animal Health Innovation Pte. Ltd. is offering a two-year Workforce Singapore career conversion program in Singapore’s biopharma sector. The role provides structured training in assay transfer, diagnostic workflows, and laboratory automation within a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will learn to document data, perform analytical reviews, and collaborate across cross-functional teams while building long-term expertise in biotechnology and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Aquaculture, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields).
• At least 2 years of experience with experience in Programming.
• Learning Agility & Growth Mindset: High adaptability and eagerness to acquire new laboratory skills within a regulated setting.
• Analytical aptitude with attention to detail and comfort with quantitative data and digital tools.
• Communication & collaboration: clear English communication; ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to long-term development in biotechnology, biomanufacturing, or quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Structured Training in Assay Transfer: learn and execute in-vitro biochemical and immunochemical assays (e.g., ELISA) designed to replace live-fish testing for Quality Control.
• Diagnostic & Analytical Support: training on sample collection, diagnostic testing workflows, and measuring antibody responses post-vaccination.
• Laboratory Automation & Digital Integration: collaborate with scientists on programming and operating parameters for automated liquid-handling systems and analytical instrumentation as assays mature.
• Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) & SOP Adherence: gain experience working strictly according to SOPs, biosafety guidelines, and data integrity standards in a regulated lab.
• Documentation & Data Analysis: learn to document raw data, compile trend reports, and conduct statistical evaluations for technical reviews.
