Job summary

Recruit123 is partnering with an established biopharmaceutical organization to hire a Bioprocess Engineer / Process Engineer (Biologics) in Singapore. You will optimize upstream and downstream manufacturing processes, support commercial-scale operations, and drive continuous improvement under cGMP guidelines.

Collaborate with QA, QC and validation teams while focusing on process transfers and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or Biotechnology
• 2–4 years of hands-on cGMP biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical experience
• Solid grounding in mammalian cell culture or microbial fermentation and downstream purification
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot bioreactors, chromatography systems and ultrafiltration units
• Execute technical batch records and lead process validation activities
• Investigate deviations and root causes; collaborate with QA, QC and validation teams
• Participate in technology transfer projects and write SOPs and technical reports
• Ensure manufacturing operations comply with regulatory requirements and safety protocols
