Job summary

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technologist to support biobanking operations, including processing biological specimens and maintaining accurate records. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant laboratory experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative research environment. Responsibilities also include compliance monitoring and data management.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience is preferred.
• Physically able to handle laboratory equipment and materials of up to 10kg.
• Good general health and no colour blindness.

Responsibilities

• Process blood, cells, and tissue specimens according to SOPs.
• Maintain accurate laboratory and sample records.
• Support the storage and distribution of biospecimens.
• Perform data entry and consolidation across multiple systems.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations.
• Communicate operational issues as required.
