Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Preferably 1-2 years Clinical Laboratory experience.
• Good laboratory skills and proactive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a team.
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems.
• Good communication and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and supervise reception of laboratory specimens.
• Operate the Laboratory Information System for orders, results and queries.
• Perform procedures per laboratory protocols and report critical values.
• Maintain quality control and basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Assist with staff rosters and shift duties as required.
• Coordinate with senior staff and participate in audits and safety rules.
