Job summary

National University Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to support the Tissue Repository and perform laboratory and administrative activities related to biobanking operations and research support.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science and ideally 1–2 years of relevant experience. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years relevant laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to handle laboratory equipment and materials up to 10 kg.
• Good general health and no colour blindness.

Responsibilities

• Process blood, cells, and tissue specimens in accordance with SOPs.
• Support the storage and distribution of biospecimens.
• Maintain accurate laboratory and sample records.
• Perform data entry and consolidation across multiple systems.
