Job summary

Binance Accelerator Program offers a 3-6 month internship for current students and recent graduates. You will own real-world risk-detection projects, process large datasets with PySpark and SQL, and iterate ML models with business metrics like detection rate and latency.

You will work with the Risk AI DS team, collaborate across teams, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, globally distributed crypto environment. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as CS/DS/Math/Engineering.
• Strong ML foundation with Python and SQL proficiency.
• Familiar with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MongoDB.
• Comfortable with large-scale datasets; Spark experience is a plus.
• Able to leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at data investigation.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a real-world project stream end-to-end within Risk AI DS.
• Process billions of records using PySpark, Hive, and Trino.
• Develop robust SQL pipelines for feature engineering and validation.
• Build and iterate on ML models, translate metrics to business impact.

About the Team

The Risk AI DS team builds risk-detection models on large-scale user behavior, fund-flow and market data.

What You'll Do

• Own a real-world project stream end-to-end, such as syndicate detection, user behavior sequencing, market manipulation detection, or feature discovery.
• Process and analyze billions of records using PySpark, Hive, and Trino, and develop robust SQL pipelines for feature engineering and validation.
• Build, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning models, translating model performance into meaningful business metrics such as detection rate, false-positive rate, and latency.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, with proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
• Comfortable working with large-scale datasets; experience with Apache Spark is a plus.
• Proficient in leveraging AI coding agents, such as Claude Code or Cursor, to accelerate development and improve productivity.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong instinct for investigating data anomalies and identifying root causes.
• Fluency in English is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders, articulate technical findings clearly, and collaborate effectively across teams. Additional languages would be an advantage.
