Job summary

SMART ATS PTE. LTD. is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the implementation of Building Information Modelling across the project lifecycle in Singapore. You will define BEPs, set modelling standards, and ensure consistent, accurate BIM data for designers, contractors, and site teams.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, run clash detections, manage model quality, and support handover documentation to deliver a connected, accurate BIM environment aligned with Singapore construction practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in BIM, Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, M&E Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant BIM experience.
• Strong experience in BIM coordination on multidisciplinary construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, drawings, specs, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM standards applicable to Singapore construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of clash detection, model federation, BIM coordination, and model quality control.

• BIM Management & Strategy: Develop and implement BEP, establish workflows, standards, naming conventions, and modelling requirements.
• Construction & Site Support: Provide BIM technical information to site staff and resolve discrepancies with on-site conditions.
• Project Coordination: Attend BIM coordination and technical meetings, prepare coordination reports and model updates.
• BIM Standards & Quality Control: Establish modelling procedures, conduct audits, ensure information accuracy, maintain BIM libraries and project standards.

Job Summary

The BIM Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle. The role oversees BIM standards, model development, coordination, clash detection, documentation, and collaboration among consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Management & Strategy

• Develop and implement the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Establish BIM workflows, standards, protocols, naming conventions, and modelling requirements.
• Manage BIM processes throughout the design, construction, and handover stages.

2. Construction & Site Support

• Support the project team and site staff with BIM-related technical information
• Support site teams in resolving discrepancies between BIM models and actual site conditions
• Assist with as-built BIM model development and project handover documentation

3. Project Coordination

• Attend BIM coordination meetings and technical meetings.
• Prepare and present BIM coordination reports and model updates.

4. BIM Standards & Quality Control

• Establish BIM modelling and quality-control procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of BIM models.
• Ensure models contain accurate and consistent information.
• Maintain BIM libraries, templates, families, and project standards.
• Monitor compliance with BIM standards and project-specific requirements.
