Job summary

ABS Building Products Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled BIM Designer to translate architectural concepts into detailed 2D drawings and construction documents.

You will lead project assignments, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and produce 2D plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD and Illustrator. Overseas experience is preferred, and a diploma or degree in architecture or related field is required.

Qualifications

Bim Designer

Requirements

• Diploma or university graduate or above, major in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related subject., has theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building material, construction, interior design and decoration.
• Project management, lead all local and overseas projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control and inspection of all projects. Submit a review analysis report to the board for each project after completion. Overseas experience is a must.
• Communication and management of external related parties, liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities.
• Create and explain design concepts of designing exterior and interior furnishings.
• Design detailed illustration of door and window two or four sides option and cutting list; Aluminum and glass partition cutting list, casement door and window accessories etc.
• Able to produce 2D plans layout, elevations and sections drawings in AutoCAD / Illustrator .

Responsibilities

• Excellent team management, set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
• Provide guidance to engineers in relation to construction works, ensure the schedule is on schedule, maintain quality standards, ensure proper site management, and urge to solve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Build up Singapore ABS as prestigious brand technically both in Singapore and overseas market e.g., in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, Hong Kong, Macau or China etc.
• Take perspective views, Plans, Elevations, and Represent the underlying interior design information.
• Highest level of AutoCAD skill is preferred.
