Job summary

ABS Building Products PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant BIM Designer to lead design concepts for exterior and interior furnishings, producing 2D plans, elevations and sections using AutoCAD, Illustrator, and BIM tools.

The role emphasizes overseas project coordination, strict quality control, and active collaboration with clients and contractors. The candidate should have a diploma or higher in Architecture or related fields, with strong project management, communication and analytical skills,

Qualifications

• Diploma or university graduate in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building materials, construction, interior design and decoration.
• Overseas project experience is essential and required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with clients, subcontractors, architects and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage local and overseas projects, plan, coordinate, execute, monitor and inspect projects, and report post-completion analysis to the board.
• Provide guidance to engineers on construction works and ensure schedules and quality standards are met.
• Supervise site activities, check measurements and ensure timely problem-solving.
• Develop and explain design concepts for exterior and interior furnishings and prepare 2D/3D design visuals and documentation.

Assistant Bim Designer

Requirements

• Diploma or university graduate or above, major in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related subject., has theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building material, construction, interior design and decoration.
• Project management, lead all local and overseas projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control and inspection of all projects. Submit a review analysis report to the board for each project after completion. Overseas experience is a must.
• Communication and management of external related parties, liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities.
• Create and explain design concepts of designing exterior and interior furnishings.

Design detailed illustration of door and window two or four sides option and cutting list; Aluminum and glass partition cutting list, casement door and window accessories etc.

• Able to produce 2D plans layout, elevations and sections drawings in AutoCAD / Illustrator / BIM.

Responsibilities

• Excellent team management, set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
• Provide guidance to engineers in relation to construction works, ensure the schedule is on schedule, maintain quality standards, ensure proper site management, and urge to solve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Build up Singapore ABS as prestigious brand technically both in Singapore and overseas market e.g., in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, Hong Kong, Macau or China etc.
• Take perspective views, Plans, Elevations, and Represent the underlying interior design information.
• Highest level of AutoCAD skill is preferred.
