Job summary

ABS BUILDING PRODUCTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead local and overseas construction initiatives, coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors.

The role requires strong leadership, multi‑skill proficiency, and a track record in managing complex building projects across borders. Travel will be frequent between Singapore and overseas markets, with occasional weekend work. A diploma or university degree in architecture or civil engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or university degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in overseas construction management of buildings and commercial complexes with detailed proposals referencing BQ & drawings.
• Excellent team management, guiding engineers to meet schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build up Singapore ABS as a prestigious brand technically in Singapore and overseas markets (Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, or China).
• Assist managing director in developing and implementing corporate strategy and policies. Prepare monthly and annual project analyses and board-level planning.
• Frequent travel between Singapore and overseas.
• Pioneering, supervising and liaising with project parties.
• Willing to work on Saturdays.

Requirements

Diploma or university graduate or above, major in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related subject., has theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building material, construction, interior design / decoration or quantity survey on cost etc.

• Experience in overseas market in construction management of buildings and commercial complexes and high capability in door / window hardware detailed proposal by referring to BQ & drawing
• Has extensive experience in Overseas construction technical specifications
• Excellent team management, set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team. Provide guidance to engineers in relation to construction works, ensure the schedule is on schedule, maintain quality standards, ensure proper site management, and urge to solve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Possess a wealth of human resource management capabilities
• Have a strong sense of responsibility towards work, willing to work with the company to grow extensively, has an ambition and plan to expand Greater China and South East Asia market
• Candidates who needs to contact overseas customers, multi-languages required
• Proficient in Microsoft, BIM and AutoCAD is preferred

• Project management, lead all local and overseas projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control and inspection of all projects. Submit a review analysis report to the board for each project after completion.
• Communication and management of external related parties, liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities.
