Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore seeks an experienced BIM Engineer to lead the production and coordination of detailed 3D BIM models for MEP systems using Revit, ensuring full cross-discipline integration with architectural and structural work.

You will support MEP engineers, generate outputs like load schedules, SLDs, riser diagrams and annotated views, and ensure BIM deliverables comply with BEPs and ISO 19650. Expect QA/QC, and development of Revit families and automation tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years drafting experience in building services.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and Revit; strong BIM understanding.
• Experience in consultancy environments and coordinating multi-discipline models.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and coordination of 3D BIM models for MEP systems in Revit.
• Ensure integration with architectural/structural models and BEP/ISO 19650 standards.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the production, coordination, and maintenance of detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Autodesk Revit, ensuring full integration across architectural and structural disciplines. Support MEP engineers in developing accurate and coordinated models, including HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, plumbing layouts, cable trays, conduits, electrical equipment, lighting, and fire protection systems. Generate project-specific outputs such as load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), riser diagrams, panel schedules, and annotated views from the coordinated models. Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Surbana Jurong’s BIM standards, and internationally recognized frameworks such as ISO 19650. Lead and participate in clash detection and resolution activities using Navisworks Manage, collaborating closely across teams to resolve spatial and design conflicts. Manage and contribute to the preparation of construction drawings, coordination documentation, and model data sets through BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Drive modeling efficiency and consistency through the development and management of Revit families, BIM content libraries, templates, and automation tools. Conduct thorough QA/QC checks to ensure models and extracted drawings are accurate, coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project requirements at each stage of delivery.

Requirements

Education Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Relevant Experience Minimum: 3 – 5 years of drafting experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical building services in consultancy firm. Professional Knowledge/ Skills: Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit software Have a good understand of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
