Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a BIM Modeler/Coordinator in Singapore to develop and coordinate BIM models for civil, structural, and architectural disciplines. You will work with engineers, project managers, and the CAD/BIM manager to ensure timely, accurate deliverables and compliance with BIM standards.

You will update models with new information, prepare 2D documentation, and support authority submissions while coordinating across disciplines and adhering to BIM execution plans.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or ITE drafting certificate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in BIM related projects’ implementation.
• Proficient in ACAD and BIM software such as Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling/Coordination for C&S design discipline.
• Work closely with Engineers, Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager to ensure timely completion.
• Develop BIM models from rough sketches/CAD and specifications from Engineers.
• Develop BIM 2D documentation as per BIM standards used in the project & organisation.
• Update BIM models with latest information and ensure quality of BIM models.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on updated BIM models.
• Prepare Authority submission drawings.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on design changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to Project BIM Execution Plan and BIM workflow criteria.
• Follow Organisation BIM content standards and development procedures.
• Prepare discipline model/content for BIM Coordination Meetings.

Requirements

• Good team player, self-driven, and with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational, problem solving and communication skills
