Job summary

Surbana Jurong Infrastructure is seeking a motivated BIM Leader/Coordinator to drive BIM implementation for global energy and infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will lead 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring clash-free deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

The role requires strong BIM management skills, experience in Revit and related tools, and the ability to mentor a team while coordinating with engineers and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of BIM Coordination experience in design/construction engineering or IDD project management.
• Proficient in international and local BIM standards.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary BIM projects and coordinating models/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/assist BIM implementation, BEP, and modelling workflows.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination to ensure clash-free models and drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and team leaders on project requirements and submission timelines.
• Assign tasks to BIM modellers and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Develop and maintain BIM protocols and templates per BEP.

Surbana Jurong Infrastructure Global Energy Department is seeking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented BIM Leader/Coordinator with a strong interest in renewable energy & infrastructure projects. Duties

• Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• Prepare and/or assist in BIM implementation, standards, modelling workflow & methodologies.
• Prepare and/or assist in preparation of BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Lead multidisciplinary detail coordination to ensure clash‑free and coordinated models and drawings.
• Liaise with Engineers and team leaders regarding on projects requirements, design updates, coordination issues and submission timeline etc.
• Assign the relevant works to the relevant BIM modeller and monitoring the progress.
• Comply with the deliverable’s deadlines set by engineer/ team leader.
• Assist in preparation of authority submission drawings, coordinated models and supporting BIM deliverables (for BIM project).
• Ability to collaborate closely with other team member and other disciplines to avoid clashes on the drawing and BIM model.
• Set up and manage template on mechanical & electrical system, based plan setup, project coordinates, views, sheets and worksets whenever required.
• To ensure that the system, layers, filters, naming conventions & Revit families are in proper order & according to template (BEP) and authority submission requirement as well.
• To develop & maintain BIM protocol and BEP requirement by the client.
• Troubleshoot issues with models ensuring timely resolution.

Requirements

• Education:
• NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Specialist diploma in BIM management or min. DDM Tier3.
• Required experience:
• Minimum eight (8) year experience in BIM Coordination in Design Engineering/ Construction Engineering/ IDD Project Management.
• Proficient in relevant International & Singapore Local BIM Standards.
• Proven experience in leading/coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects.
• Review and validate BIM models, drawings, and data prior to submission.
• Manage model federation, clash detection, model integration, and coordination using suitable BIM software.
• Monitor BIM progress, deliverables, and resources to achieve project schedule and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to BIM modellers.
• Coordinate model updates and ensure consistency between BIM models and construction drawings.
• Experience in Singapore infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with relevant international and local codes and standards.
• Proven in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Google Earth, PVsyst, Qgis (or any other terrain database software) and Proficient in MS Suites will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to or knowledge of additional BIM platforms and tools will be an added advantage
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with the ability to work with and to manage, coordinate drawing deliverables, collaborating effectively with project teams and drafting team to deliver high-quality drawings and models.
