Job summary

KTP Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead structural BIM modeling and coordination across disciplines in Singapore. You will develop BIM models from sketches and engineer specifications, create 2D documentation, and ensure updates reflect latest project information for quality and accuracy.

Applicants should have a diploma in Civil Engineering or related certificates, 6+ years in design coordination, and strong planning and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a similar role.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting related certificates from BCA.
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience in design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects in construction industry.
• Good planning skills in managing modelling and drafting works.
• Good knowledge in Civil & Structural Engineering design & construction.
• Have a strong understanding of building processes and possess excellent technical drafting skill.
• Passionate, Team Player and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BIM Modeling for Structural design discipline.
• Work closely with Engineers, Project Manager or CAD/BIM Manager to ensure successful completion of assignment within given timeline.
• Develop BIM models from rough sketches/ CAD and specifications from Engineers
• Develop BIM 2D documentation as per BIM standards used in the project & organisation.
• Responsible for the updates as per the latest information provided and ensure the quality of the BIM models.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on the updated BIM Models of other disciplines.
• Prepare Authority submission drawings.
• Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines design-changes and model challenges.
• Adhere to Project BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Strictly follow Organization BIM content standards and development procedures.
• Prepare discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
