Job summary

METALWOOD ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced BIM/Facade Designer to prepare and manage design drawings using BIM, Rhino, Grasshopper, and CAD, ensuring model compatibility and accessible BIM data for project delivery.

You will coordinate architectural and structural interfaces with main contractors, verify drawings meet specs, manage design changes, attend site meetings, and support project objectives while collaborating with design teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in architecture, civil or structural engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in construction and architectural projects, facade/roofing ideal.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of DGN, DWF, IFC and MicroStation is a plus.
• Strong project management and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Fluent English and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and facilitate design drawings using BIM, Rhino, Grasshopper, and CAD to support project delivery.
• Ensure all models are compatible and BIM data accessible to project participants for collaboration.
• Coordinate architectural and structural interfaces with main contractors and other trades.
• Collaborate with design team to verify drawings meet design specifications.
• Manage design changes and resolve discrepancies between design and project teams.
• Attend site meetings to provide design input and support project progress.
• Perform additional tasks to support project objectives and team requirements.
