Job summary

The role covers quotations, RFQs, SOPs, tariff updates, and ongoing business development with a focus on customer retention and growth, while maintaining policy compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• 5–7 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or transport.
• Experience in customer relationship management and sales support.
• Ability to communicate professionally in English and Japanese (spoken and written).
• Good understanding of Japanese business culture and customer engagement.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customers and overseas offices in Japan.
• Manage customer communications, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Support quotations, RFQs, RFIs, and SOP preparation.
• Conduct regular customer visits to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide dedicated support to Japanese-speaking customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal units and global offices on inquiries and routing.
• Support tender submissions and pricing strategies with Tender teams.
• Lead escalation handling and service recovery actions.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports for customers.
