Job summary

Maha Yu Yi PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites applications for a Bookstore Operations Assistant to support packing, order fulfilment, inventory handling, and warehouse tasks.

The role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and steady, long-term contribution. You will pick and pack customer and school orders, verify Chinese titles, prepare parcels for courier pickup, manage stock, and assist with occasional book fairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write Chinese for handling Chinese book titles and documents.
• Comfortable with physical work and repetitive packing tasks.
• Detail-oriented with accurate picking and stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer and school orders.
• Verify Chinese book titles against orders.
• Prepare parcels for delivery and courier pickup.
• Receive, shelve, label, and organise books in storage areas.
• Assist with stock-taking and inventory checks.
• Assist with nearby deliveries when required.
• Support packing/setup for school book fairs (ocassionally).
• Basic scanning of book covers/pages (optional).
• File organisation for online store (optional).
