Job summary

ZALL BOOKSTORES PTE. LTD. is seeking a store associate to support daily retail operations in Singapore.

You will manage POS transactions, assist customers with inquiries, arrange merchandise displays, handle goods receiving and packing, and maintain a clean, orderly store environment. The role requires flexible hours including weekends and public holidays. Candidates should be able to communicate in English and Chinese, with a minimum GCE O/N Level qualification.

Qualifications

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to communicate with English- and Chinese-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system accurately to process customer transactions and payments.
• Respond promptly and clearly to customer inquiries to provide helpful information and support.
• Arrange and display merchandise to enhance product visibility and store presentation.
• Receive, pack, and label goods efficiently to ensure accurate inventory handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store through general housekeeping tasks.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department to support store operations.
