Job summary

ByteDance is seeking software engineers for the Tea (Toutiao Event Analyze) team. The role focuses on operating and optimizing a big-data analytics platform used by 10,000+ employees worldwide, processing exabytes of data with millisecond latency.

You will participate in architecture, performance tuning, and cross-region deployment efforts, collaborating with global teams to ensure robust data services and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of software engineering experience.
• Experience in big data platform operations with Hadoop, Spark, ClickHouse.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of big data platforms.
• Participate in architectural design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of big data platforms.
• Analyze and resolve complex system performance and stability issues to ensure reliability.
• Write technical documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Update software and develop testing and validation procedures.
