Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Big Data Developer / BI Engineer in Singapore to design and optimize data platforms and ETL workflows, ensuring efficient data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading for enterprise systems.

You will build scalable data models and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using Fanruan tools, delivering actionable insights to support business decisions and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in big data development or BI is preferred.

Big Data Developer / BI Engineer

Location: Singapore

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and optimization of big data platforms, including the design and implementation of ETL workflows for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
• Build data models based on data warehouse architectures.
• Develop complex reports, visual large screens, and mobile dashboards using Fanruan reporting tools (FineReport / FineBI).
• Participate in the development of big data application systems, conducting data analysis and mining according to business requirements.
• Optimize data storage and computing performance to ensure system stability and scalability.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• 1、Proficient in big data technology stack (Hadoop / Spark / Hive / HBase) with hands‑on experience in massive data processing；
• 2、Strong command of relational databases (Oracle / MySQL / SQL Server) and SQL tuning；
• 3、Solid understanding of data warehouse theories, capable of data modeling, ETL development, and OLAP analysis；
• 4、Skilled in Fanruan reporting tools with at least 2 full‑cycle project delivery experience.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in big data development or BI. Candidates with a background in finance, internet, or data analytics are preferred.

Soft Skills

• Clear logical thinking; competent in requirement investigation, cross‑department communication, and documentation writing.

General Requirements

• Willingness to work overseas (Singapore)

Preferred Qualifications

• FCRP (Fanruan Certified Senior Report Engineer) certification
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML / JavaScript / ECharts) or self‑service BI analytics tools
• Practical experience in data warehouse construction, user profiling, or AI application development
• Fluent English communication skills.
