Job summary

BIPO Service (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive the design and development of scalable overseas data warehouse and platform solutions across mobile, IoT, and app domains.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate complex data requirements into scalable analytics products to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong expertise in big data technologies such as SQL, Spark, Flink, and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proven experience in data modeling and designing large-scale data warehouses.
• Proficient in data visualization tools and building data products like dashboards and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the company’s overseas data warehouse and data platform across mobile device, IoT, and app data domains.
• Architect and implement scalable data processing systems and analytics applications to convert raw data into actionable insights.
• Design and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines using technologies such as Spark and Flink to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Define and implement data warehouse architecture including ODS, DWD, DWS, and ADS layers, and enforce data governance practices covering data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
• Drive the development of data products including dashboards, visualization systems, and dynamic reporting solutions to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with business, product, and analytics teams to translate complex requirements into scalable and maintainable data solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering and analytics to enhance team capabilities.

Job Requirements - Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Strong expertise in big data technologies such as SQL, Spark, Flink, and the Hadoop ecosystem
• Proven experience in data modeling and designing large-scale data warehouses
• Proficient in data visualization tools and building data products like dashboards and reporting systems
• Solid understanding of processing both structured and unstructured data
• Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working with global or overseas data environments

• Good communication, collaboration skills, and a strong sense of engineering ownership
