Job summary

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) through the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is seeking a data analytics professional to support evidence-based decision making in officer well-being, resilience, and psychological operations. The role focuses on survey trend analysis and translating findings into actionable insights for EPSD leadership.

This is a 2-year contract position expiring December 2028. Shortlisting decisions will be communicated within four weeks of the posting closing date.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Psychology with strong research methods knowledge.
• Strong foundation in psychological research methods, statistics and quantitative data analysis.
• Experience with statistics (R, Python), data analytics and data visualization (Power BI, Excel).
• Comfortable with technology and innovations, with interest in behavioural analytics.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects with good stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Supports behavioural research and analytics projects, data collection, management, analysis and reporting.
• Develops and maintains data-driven psychological sensing and analytics tools/systems.
• Supports technology-enabled psychology and innovation projects.
• Translates data and research into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Supports cross-branch projects and stakeholder coordination.
