Job summary

Sunset Singapore, a member of Sunset Hospitality Group, is seeking a Bartender to deliver friendly, attentive and personalized beverage service to guests at METT Singapore. You will prepare and serve beverages per established recipes while ensuring a welcoming guest experience.

Role requires knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and outstanding communication. The position supports a vibrant hospitality team and may involve shifts, weekends and public holidays, with opportunities to showcase

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of beverages, cocktail preparation and bar service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude and welcoming personality.

Responsibilities

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering friendly, attentive and personalized beverage service to our guests. You will prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and service standards while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and according to established recipes and service standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive and personalized service to all guests.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the beverage menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to confidently answer guest enquiries and make appropriate recommendations.
• Perform suggestive selling and promote beverages to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation and portion control.
• Follow all beverage recipes, procedures and standards accurately.
• Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and meet the required presentation standards.
• Monitor beverage supplies and assist with ordering, receiving and proper storage of stock.
• Set up, replenish and maintain beverage stations, displays and service areas.
• Ensure all equipment, utensils and work areas are clean, organized and properly maintained.
• Comply with all food safety, hygiene, health and sanitation standards at all times.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and elevate issues to the reporting supervisor when required.
• Operate the POS system accurately and ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with established procedures.
• Support the team in maintaining smooth daily operations and a high standard of service.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
