Job summary

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is seeking a skilled barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will calibrate and maintain coffee equipment to ensure consistent results while delivering exceptional customer service.

Experience as a barista is preferred, with knowledge of milk steaming, latte art, and espresso methods. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Knowledge of milk steaming, microfoam quality and latte art.
• Understanding espresso preparation and coffee brewing methods preferred.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure coffee equipment is calibrated and maintained for consistency and quality.
• Uphold excellent levels of customer service.
• Conduct service training for staff.
• Stock management—ordering and storing products; liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform cashier and order-taking duties.
• Maintain equipment and flag for servicing or repairs when needed.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

• Ensure that the coffee equipment is calibrated and maintained to produce consistent and high-quality coffee
• Preserve and upholding excellent levels of customer service
• Responsible for conducting service training to all other staff.
• Stock management -ordering and storage of products, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to perform cashier and order-taking duties.
• Ensure the maintenance of equipment and flag for servicing or repairs when needed.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management and/or immediate superior

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista is preferred.
• Knowledge of milk steaming, microfoam quality, milk temperature, and basic-to-advanced latte art.
• Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing methods is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
