Job summary

Compass Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a customer-focused cafe associate to support daily F&B operations, including taking orders, serving, and handling cashiering duties.

You will maintain cleanliness, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and inform customers of promotions while supporting Espresso Bar, POS, Waffle, Cold Beverage, Café Bussing, and prep work stations.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in F&B as Barista or similar role.
• Computer literate and passionate about coffee.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily F&B operations: taking orders, serving, and cashiering.
• Inform customers of current store promotions and maintain high service standards.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of premises and equipment; support multiple stations: Espresso Bar, POS, Waffle, Cold Beverages, Café Bussing and Back of House prep work.

Perform any duties assigned by the manager

Ensure cleanliness of premise, equipment and adhere to health, safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Provide prompt and good customer service, informing customers of current store promotion

Able to multi task and familiarized with these areas:

• Espresso Bar Station
• POS Station
• Waffle Station
• Cold Beverage Station
• Café Station (Bussing)
• Back of House (Prep. Work)

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

Adhere to Compass Singapore HSE systems and procedures

Follow all Emergency Response plans on site

Follow procedures for identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and risks

Adhere to and maintain food handling standards and food safety plan at all times

Job Requirements:

Minimum GCE 'N' level and above or related certificates in the related position

At least 2 years' experience working in F&B as Barista or similar field

Computer literate

Passion about coffee
