Job summary

TLG Gourmet Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced barbecue cook to join our kitchen team.

You will prepare and smoke a variety of meats using smokers, grills, and open flame techniques, ensuring consistent quality and safety. You will trim, marinate, season, and monitor meats, operate and maintain equipment, and collaborate with staff on prep, plating, and cleanup. Strong attention to detail, food safety knowledge, and the ability to work weekends and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Knowledge of smoking techniques, meat cuts, and seasoning methods
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Able to perform split shift, work on weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills

• Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, presentation standards, and portion guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and assist with prep work, plating, and clean-up as needed
• Manage inventory of barbecue supplies and ingredients; notify of low stock level
• Keep work area, equipment, and tools clean and organized at all times
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
