Job summary

Po Xiao Man is a Singapore food & beverage brand seeking a skilled Dim Sum / Bao Chef to craft handcrafted bao, mantou, siew mai, and other pastries from dough mixing to steaming in a central kitchen and stores.

The role focuses on maintaining quality, assisting with prep, inventory, and sanitation, and strict adherence to SOPs. Preference given to candidates with 1 year bao pastry experience and a Singapore Food Hygiene Certificate, with registration support if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience making Chinese pastries/bao.
• Hardworking, responsible, with good teamwork and hygiene.
• Candidates with a Singapore Food Hygiene Certificate will be prioritized; company can assist with registration if needed.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in making handcrafted bao, mantou, siew mai, and various pastries—from dough mixing to steaming.
• Maintain standardized product quality for appearance, fermentation, taste and quality.
• Assist with daily central kitchen/outlet prep, inventory storage, ingredient preparation, and sanitation.
• Strictly comply with food safety and hygiene standards (SOP).
