Job summary

ParkRoyal Collection Marina Bay, Singapore is seeking a dynamic Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations, from intimate executive meetings to grand weddings and galas. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will ensure flawless planning, superb service, and seamless event execution in line with the Garden-in-a-Hotel concept.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3-5 years of banquet operations experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Proven track record in high-profile and high-volume events.
• Strong knowledge of F&B service, event logistics, and banquet billing procedures.
• Strong financial acumen and computer literacy (MS Office, Opera, Delphi or similar PMS/Catering software).

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for clients during event planning with Sales & Catering.
• Prepare comprehensive Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and conduct pre-event briefings.
• Oversee event setup to breakdown ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and schedule banquet service team (Captains, Servers, Casual Labour).
• Manage department budget, inventory, billing accuracy, and cost-control measures.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene; address guest concerns promptly.
• Prepare and analyze banquet reports and ensure compliance with policies.
