Job summary

OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Release Manager to drive software deployment across critical banking applications. You will collaborate with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless rollouts and maintain deployment pipelines.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot, Linux, shell scripting, and managing Jenkins pipelines, with familiarity in Control-M, Aldon RDO, and Connect Direct.

Qualifications

• A degree in IT or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience within a banking environment.
• Solid foundational Java development skills built on top of Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in software project deployment, release management, and implementation.
• Solid capability in managing Jenkins pipelines and build agents.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Control-M, Aldon RDO, and Connect Direct (JBoss environment experience is a strong plus).

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute software releases, test deployments, and environment transitions.
• Build, administer, and optimise Jenkins pipelines and build agents to streamline delivery workflows.
• Utilise strong Linux platform knowledge and advanced shell scripting for automated deployment tasks, utility creation, and troubleshooting.
• Manage workflow scheduling via Control-M, handle change and release governance using Aldon RDO, and configure secure file transfers with Connect Direct.
• Apply solid Java and Spring Boot development skills to review build artefacts, troubleshoot deployment blockers, and support complex enterprise integrations.
