Job summary

Fuku in Singapore seeks a seasoned backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. You will work on high-volume banking transactions and RESTful APIs within a distributed system.

You will deploy in Docker/Kubernetes, implement event-driven patterns with Apache Kafka, and collaborate with analysts and architects to deliver secure, high-performance solutions that meet banking requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot for enterprise application development.
• Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming and message-driven architecture.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices.
• Banking or financial services domain experience, preferably in payments or transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in Java with Spring in a microservices setup.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using Kafka for high-volume banking transactions.
• Deploy and manage microservices in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to meet banking requirements.
