Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a data engineering professional with strong experience in banking finance data pipelines. You will design and implement data pipelines, collect, process, and store data from various sources, and write SQL for reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, data warehouse, Teradata, Hadoop, Python, Spark, and CI/CD, with a focus on data security and compliance. You will work with business stakeholders and document data models and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse, and Banking Financial systems (General Ledger, Balance sheet)
• Strong knowledge in SQL, ETL, Teradata, Hadoop, Python; experience with data extraction/manipulation
• Fluency in Python, Spark, Hive-QL, Hadoop ecosystem; Unix/Linux/HDFS environments
• Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources
• Assist in writing BRD, FRD, and Data Mapping documents
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements
• Organize, build, and maintain structured and unstructured data stores on a Cloud environment
• Build scalable data pipelines and architectures for large data volumes
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into solutions
• Document data processes, workflows, and data models; maintain technical documentation
